Europa Worldwide relocating Scottish operation to Maxim


Maxim Office Park has today announced it has secured one of the UK’s largest privately owned transport and logistics companies as a new tenant.

Europa Road, a dedicated division of ambitious logistics operator, Europa Worldwide Group, is relocating its Scottish operation from Gartsherrie Industrial Estate in Coatbridge and has taken a suite on the second floor of Maxim 1.  Extending to 1,173 sq ft, Europa has acquired the space on a five year lease and is expected to take occupation immediately.

Europa Road’s new office at Maxim provides a modern and environmentally efficient working environment, and enables the company to capitalise on commercial opportunities in the local marketplace and across Europe.

With warehouses and transit facilities throughout the UK and Asia, and more than 600 employees across 13 sites, Europa provides a complete supply chain of tailor-made freight and logistics solutions to customers across a diverse range of sectors and locations.  The company operates over 475 scheduled service departures per week, delivering in excess of 500,000 shipments per year in over 160 countries.

Europa’s move to Maxim follows a period of strong performance and growth for the company which has led to the need to expand.  The new office also has space for more hires expected by the team in 2017.
