Maxim 6 is fully occupied by SEPA, Scotland’s principal environmental regulator. They have named Maxim 6, The Angus Smith Building, after the Scot who was the world’s first environmental regulator. Housing 400 staff it’s SEPA’s west central Scotland operational base. And the central location means that several national SEPA functions operate from the building. Environmental performance is of course an extremely important consideration for SEPA, so the BREEAM Excellent rating, sustainable design and flexible shell were all part of their building selection process. Careful internal planning means that staff benefit from impressive communal, break out, touch down and meeting facilities throughout their workspace.
