MAXIM OFFICE PARK SECURES EXTENDED PUBLIC TRANSPORT SERVICES
Scottish Citylink’s expanded 900 service will connect Glasgow and Edinburgh city centres via Maxim 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
4 October 2017–Users of Maxim Office Park will be able to use public transport services 24 hours a day, seven days a week to travel between Glasgow and Edinburgh city centres. The new services follow an extension of Scottish Citylink’s 900 route.
A joint venture between Stagecoach and international transport group ComfortDelGro, the coach operator’s 900 service will run every 15 minutes with over return 50 journeys, every day.
The route connects Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station, via Maxim Office Park, directly with destinations including Edinburgh Airport, Corstorphine Road, Haymarket railway station, Princes Street and Edinburgh Bus Station.
Offering flexibility and great value, the very frequent service means Maxim visitors can benefit from new additional late night services which includes a new 24 hour service to Edinburgh airport.
Craig Ritchie, director at Maxim Office Park, said: “The growth of Maxim and Eurocentral has resulted in a huge demand for increased public transport links to the area so it’s great news that the 900 service has been extended to cater for this growth.
“The new service ensures that Maxim now has direct, around the clock connectivity to both Glasgow and Edinburgh city centres through public transport, providing the necessary links for our current and future workforce at Maxim as well as those who use the leisure amenities such as Berits and Brown.
“This latest development is further evidence of our efforts to continually improve services for our occupiers.”
Due to the Park’s great location immediately adjacent to the M8, Maxim easily serves the whole of central Scotland with excellent, road, rail and air links.
Mr Ritchie continued: “Now it is open, the upgraded M8 is further improving road-based transport and having a major positive impact on the businesses along the motorway corridor and beyond. We’re now seeing increased interest from a wide range of high profile occupiers due to Maxim being one of the most prominent and accessible locations within central Scotland.
“It further strengthens our position as Scotland’s premium out of town office park, offering our occupiers a wide variety of sustainable transport options and on-site amenities.”
The 900 service coaches offer superfast 4G Wi-Fi with discounted prices available for Maxim tenants. The introduction of the service now means that there are 170 buses serving the Park daily.
